The new product range also includes another new composite sheet: nora® Lunatec combi 8 is the vulcanised composition of two particularly special nora® EVA materials. The innovative combination of nora® Lunatec SE and nora® Lunatec EP sees the creation of a composite sheet which has amalgamated two outstanding qualities during the manufacturing process, thereby uniting two essential material properties: an immense restoration capability and exceptional dimensional stability.

nora® Lunatec EP (a permanently resilient layer) is an EVA quality which unites the closed cell structure and its extremely pronounced restoration capability with a specifically light weight. Above all, a high degree of restoration capability can frequently be found in materials made of polyurethane (PU), although the disadvantage here, as far as the cell structure is concerned, is that such materials behave like a sponge and soak up sweat, wound secretions and moisture through the open-cell surface. A closed-cell EVA material is hygienically washable, however.

nora® Lunatec SE (stabilising layer) is a stable and resilient EVA expanded sheet which is above all particularly suitable for inserts in sports shoes as well as for orthopaedic management. Good restoration capability and high resilience, in conjunction with excellent dimensional stability, are the outstanding characteristics of this high-grade material.

An insert or foot bedding of very high quality can be produced with nora® Lunatec combi 8 from just one material extremely quickly and effortlessly. This is why we use nora® Lunatec combi 8 as the basis for efficiently finishing sporty and modern inserts or foot beddings with high restoration capability, e.g. long-soled sports inserts. This makes Lunatec combi 8 the perfect supplement to Lunatec combi 6 in this product range.
