nora® Astro med 10 consists of a material with unique properties. It combines the benefits of an extremely soft material (about 10 shore A) with excellent restoration capacity with the benefits of an hygienic, closed-cell material.
Dynamic endurance tests have proven that after 24 hours of relief a maximum deformation of about 8 % remains. For comparison: the requirements of the PFI Institute for passing the SG plus test are < 30% and were thus exceeded many times over.
The closed cell structure prevents ichor and sweat and thus germs, bacteria and fungi from penetrating the material and ichor adhering to the surface can be hygienically removed with commercially available disinfectants.
